toothache...no, jawache

For the past couple of days, I've had some real pain in my right jaw. Yes, I know I need to go to the dentist, cause even the 15mg of oxy doesn't take the pain totally away. Whoopie, on The View, had to have emergency dental surgery, and was telling everyone the importance of taking care of your teeth. I have a kind of dental coverage - its a discount card, but I haven't found a dentist to go with it. I got a bunch of flyers in the mail that had a Find a Dentist flyer with it. If I can get it together tomorrow, maybe I'll do that. I'm still so hinky about going to the dentist, but at this point it's more dangerous for me not to go than to go. I talked about cutting the oxy in two before but I took a whole one this morning and didn't get out of bed until 7pm.

Didn't play any Guitar Hero tonight. I watched Dancing With the Stars, called my dad and wished him happy birthday and talked with him for quite a while. The movie I sent him got to him on his birthday (very cool) and they watched it this afternoon. The reason it was very cool is because its the same movie that my brother bought him. hehe. Nice to be one top of things once in a while. It sounded like they were having a good time. Then, it turned out, mom started telling Rob about my blog. She and dad have been reading them. Mom has been reading all three of them, but dad has only been reading two of them. Rob took the address down, so if he starts checking it out too I guess that'll make my readership start getting close to the double digit range. Wooo hooo.

Talking to dad gave me a good idea for how to get rid of the tumblies, I just have to get a day when I feel like trying it. I'm going to take my trash bin to the fence and lay it on it's side and try to rake the tumblies into it. Dad suggested that if I trampled them down I might end up with even more weeds than I had this summer (fence high, if you had forgotten). I think it might work out pretty well.

When Jan was here, she was walking in the back yard, she made mention that, well, however she said it, it was painfully dangerous to walk barefoot in my backyard. The weeds I didn't pull out, that just got cut down, have turned into dangerous little daggers that are hiding amidst the grass. No, it doesn't sound too inviting, doesn't it. They are too deep to pull out, and you can't get a grip if you could.

That's about it. Ach, it's Monday so I should give myself a shot tonight while I'm thinking about it and get it out of the way. Man, this month is flying by. I got an invitation from Alex's grandma to a Halloween party in Paris, TX, on Saturday. Alex is going to find out about whether I can bring Ozzy, and it is a costume party, and there will be a contest. Alex's grandma is such so cool. I really love her- she's funny and quick and warm and inviting. She has a little puppy named Oshkie that I think Ozzy might like and another dog named Misty, I think, but I won't take Ozzy unless it's ok with her. It sounds like it's going to be a pretty big party so I might be staying in a hotel. No problem. I'm sure there's a La Quinta in Paris, I hope. Hmmmmm, costume, costume, costume. I must ponder.

The costume party sounds great. Go as Dorothy and take the great and powerful Oz as toto! You aren't in Kansas, so it should be ok! And I would pretty much give anything to see you in a pair of ruby red slippers...

Bah hahahahahaha!

You have to admit it's a GREAT idea! ;)

OH! And happy birthday Uncle...if you are reading this...I love you!
