hail yeah!

Josh called me a few minutes ago. He had been doing his weather-man duty (really, he's getting really good at it) since last night about the storm front coming in, so I got my running around done this morning. Anyway, it was raining when he just called, and he said he just wanted to warn me that I might be getting some hail in a few minutes. Then, WHAM, it hits he's while he's still on the phone and it's loud! I was in bed with the shutters next to the bed open watching the storm so I got up and watched from the door. He warned me that the shutters wouldn't protect me if they went through the door when a big one hit the door. The kid's a psychic.

I told him that the ones in the backyard were pea to pecan sized but I went to the front yard where I saw this beauty. I am so glad I have a garage. Josh said he had to go cause he was going to call his friends on the
north side and warn them about the hail. This move to Oklahoma has opened a weather wizard in him I think he didn't know he had. Well, even if he did it wouldn't have been utilized much in Arizona anyway.

The next photo is the sky as it looked after I got the hail and took the picture and walked back to the backyard. It was over that fast. Even the rain is gone now. That's Oklahoma weather for you. 15 minutes and then it changes.
